Friends of Monksmead
Our Friends of Monksmead is made up of parents and grandparents of children at our school who raise considerable amounts of money throughout the year from events, including:
- Christmas Fayre and raffle
- Easter raffle and egg hunt
- Summer Fayre
- Cake sales
- Second hand uniform sales
- Discos and parties at various times during the year
They meet regularly with the Headteacher to discuss future events and raise money which pays for items, such as:
- Outside play equipment including a new KS1 climbing frame
- Ice lollies on sports day
- Eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt
- Leaving presents for the Year 6 students
- Resources for Donny's ( our Breakfast and After School club)
- New classroom chairs for Year 4
We are very grateful to all those involved.
